Retraite : Crise climatique et transformation personnelle

Who do you want to be and become in the age of climate crisis?

Last week saw over 500,000 people take to the streets in the name of climate action. My facebook feed has been filled with friends sharing Greta Thunberg, Autumn Peltier, photos from marches all across the world.

But of course to achieve real change it will take more than us sharing things on social media and hitting the streets. More and more people care about this issue, but still struggle to make changes in their own lives.

With so much disinformation going around, it can be hard to make sense of what kinds of changes suit our own values and lifestyle, and are still impactful.

Ask yourself this : how might this crisis enable you to change your life for the better?

We’d like to offer a weekend retreat that gives space for each person to dive creatively into these questions and find the insights and encouragement to create the changes that make sense for them. Participants will leave the retreat being able to each move forward with more clarity, agency and peer support.

The agenda will be co-created to meet the needs and incorporate the gifts of each of the participants. Possible activities could include :

+ Dialogue circles
+ Grief and emotional release work
+ Nature connection and wisdom gathering (there is a beautiful forest on the property, a sauna and lake for swimming)
+ Yoga, Qi-Gong, expressive movement and dance
+ Action planning
+ Authentic relating + communication skills
+ Cooking and sharing food together
+ Skill-share mini workshops
+ Anything else you’d like to bring!

LOGISTICS
There are beds for 11 people at the centre. The cost is $80 per night, so $160 for the whole retreat. Breakfast, tea, coffee, and and sack are provided. A 10$ contribution will be requested.

Food will be vegetarian / vegan pot-luck (I’ll give a spreadsheet to help organize). There will also be assistance for organizing car-pooling.

Language : We will ensure to create a space where each person is free to speak their own language.

// LOGISTIQUE
