YCI Presents: Climate Leaders Final Pitch Night

Join Youth Challenge International (YCI) for our Final Pitch Night, hosted on Gather.Town! 25 GTHA Climate Leaders will share their climate action projects and initiatives, developed through our Youth Climate Leadership Program over the last 6 months. Let’s celebrate how these innovative and creative young people are shaping more resilient communities.

YCI’s Final Pitch Night includes:

• Pitches. Climate Leaders will pitch 2-4 minutes on their project, either alone or with a teammate, for potential prizes of $500 or $2,500, sponsored by Bullfrog.

Our judging panel includes:

• • Dave Borins, Bullfrog Power Inc.
  • Laura Casciaro, Secure the Food Mississauga
  • Melina Damian, Ontario Nature & Centennial College
  • Barnabe Geis, Climate Ventures

• A digital showcase. Virtual booths featuring the youth-led climate initiatives of YCI’s Climate Leaders and a networking space to learn how to get involved
• Panel: “Green Jobs & Youth Livelihoods in Canada”. How will the impacts of climate change affect future career prospects of Canadian youth and communities? What is a “Green Job” and what shifts are happening related to sustainability and social equity?
