Sustainable Fashion: Through The Looking Glass

We’re excited to announce our partnered sustainable fashion-focused event with Green Urban Revitalization, a local community organization focused on engaging high school aged youth around waste reduction and management.

This virtual event will involve a hands-on workshop focused on having participants explore the world of fast fashion and learn what greenwashing tactics are used in the fashion industry and how to avoid them. As well as show conscious consumers how they can still shop sustainably and utilize upcycling techniques.

Participants are asked to bring an old t-shirt that they will be willing to repurpose to the meeting.
