2020 Insights on Pure-Play Clean Technology Companies

Natural Resources Canada is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2020 Insights on Pure-play Clean Technology Companies symposium. This forum will convene companies and organizations interested in better understanding Canada’s clean tech sector and in articulating data requirements. As part of the forum, MaRS Data Catalyst will present findings from the third annual National Cleantech Survey. Findings from the survey will provide a greater understanding of the composition and economic activity of clean tech firms (e.g. size, distribution, technology focus and readiness level).
This is the third year of data collection for the National Cleantech Survey, as part of the Clean Tech Data Strategy. This Strategy is a joint initiative led by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), the Clean Growth Hub, and Statistics Canada (StatCan) and aims to ensure that data is available to understand the economic and environmental contributions of clean technologies in Canada.
This year’s symposium, hosted by Natural Resources Canada, is free and will be held virtually Wednesday March 24, 2021 from 2:30-4:00 pm EST . The event will feature presentations and the opportunity to discuss issues and possible solutions for the collection and dissemination of future clean tech industry data to support sector growth and manage the transition towards a low carbon economy. We look forward to hearing your perspectives on the information presented and on your data needs.

Lors de l’événement, il y aura des présentations et des discussions sur les enjeux et les possibles solutions concernant la collecte et la diffusion des données de l’industrie sur les futures technologies propres, dans le but de soutenir la croissance et de gérer la transition vers une économie à faibles émissions de carbone. Nous avons hâte d’entendre votre point de vue sur l’information présentée et sur vos besoins en matière de données.
