Zero Waste at the HUB

Join us at the HUB at Burlington Centre on Saturday July 13th! Visit us from 11am-3pm to learn more about simple & inexpensive ways to reduce your waste!

We’ll talk personal care products, low-impact options while raising children & the easiest ways to go zero waste while grabbing groceries! Going zero waste doesn’t have to be scary – it can be cost-effective & better for your health!

Come prepared!
– Bring an old clean tee-shirt to transform into a produce bag
– Bring a small, clean jar to sample some DIY deodorant
– Bring your questions! Take a peek into your waste bins to see what your family throws out. Leave your comments so we can come prepared with easy switches for you!

Burlington Centre is accessible by bus & has plenty of bike racks available. If you’re planning on coming for a meal at the food court, make sure to bring your own cutlery or reusable mug!
