More than ever, young Canadians are raising their voices to bring awareness to the climate crisis. But how can young people get their voices listened to in the halls of power? On September 22nd, young leaders will meet in Toronto to develop their skills as climate activists and advocates in their communities.
The Youth Climate Action Summit will offer young people skills and guidance from a range of climate and advocacy professionals, providing them with tools to help make their climate leadership goals happen. You’ll hear from other young organizers, attend skills workshops and get the latest science directly from climate experts. Most importantly, you will learn strategies for empowering decision makers to stand with young people at this critical time in our history.

Who should attend? This event is for young climate leaders (approximately ages 16-22), whether you’re an experienced leader or just starting to think about organizing in your school or community.

How do you know who to trust? Should you trust that what they’re saying is accurate? This workshop will develop your investigative skills in order to get to the truth behind what you’re being told.
