Writing as an Act of Care
This workshop explores the power of the written word in recording living memory. Participants will leave with a first draft and new tools to connect to their environment, each other, and themselves.

Kimberley Dawkins (Saffron) is an award-winning, internationally published writer, musician, multidisciplinary artist and burlesque performer whose work has taken them across the country. Dawkins is the producer of a quarterly inter-arts variety show as well as the creator of Late Bloomer, a new micropress that explores experimental approaches to disseminating the written word. Dawkins is currently recording a concept EP in various libraries across the country fusing their fascinations with text and space. In their downtime, Dawkins can be found curating zines, gardening or making stop-motion animated shorts.
