Our goal: Make new buildings in Coquitlam as emissions and energy efficient as possible!
Did you know that buildings are a significant polluters in our community? In Coquitlam, they make up a 43% our city’s GHG Emissions, which contributes to climate change. π₯
But YOU can make a difference! You can help make our community a safer place for generations to come. Together, we’ll work to make our new buildings in our community as sustainable as possible. Your voice matters! π£
We’ll be learning how to go door-to-door and have meaningful conversations with Coquitlam residents to build public support for climate-friendly building policies! π³πΏ

3:20-3:40: Gather at the City Centre Branch of the Coquitlam Public Library
3:40-5:30: Introductions, Training, & Practice (New volunteers and returning volunteers learning separately)
5:30-6:00: Light Dinner (all together)
6:00-7:45 Door Canvassing (in pairs)
7:45-8:30: Debrief & CELEBRATION! π₯³π
