Sign Making Party!
Physical distancing doesn’t mean we have to socially isolate! Fridays For Future Toronto is hosting two online art builds leading up to the April 3rd Online Global Climate Strike. The events will be facilitated through ZOOM (online calling platform)
Sunday March 29 (12-1:30pm): Activists will give tips and tricks to making an eye catching and meaningful protest sign. After some background everyone will have a chance to share ideas/memes/inspiration and we will create signs together while on the call!
No previous experience required! Follow along, meet some other activists. At the end will we encourage participants to take a picture of you and your sign to be included in the April 3rd Online Global Climate Strike!
Materials to prepare in your space before joining the session:
Surface to make your sign with – paper/cardboard/foamboard
Medium you want to use to make your sign – markers/pencil crayons/pastel
ZOOM compatible electronics – Zoom is a calling platform that works on computers and phones (link will be sent on this page). Ideally set up your device in a way that allows you to see the screen as they are giving tips and to communicate with other activists on the call while making signs together.
