SDGs Launch: University of Toronto
The SDGs Launch is bringing the United Nations’ SDGs to you virtually. Since 2017, the program mobilized 8,000+ students from 83 post-secondary institutions at 51 trainings across North America.
What to expect:
- We will review the history of sustainable development, the structure of the SDGs (17 goals, 169 targets, 231 indicators), and examples of each of the 17 SDGs implemented by a variety of stakeholders.
- You will have a change to engage with a UN Official. This person will share how their agency or department underwent a transformation to implement the holistic SDGs in partnership with its communities.
- We will review examples of SDGs implementation by young people across Canada and around the world.
This event is brought to you by University of Toronto.
