Rent Strikes & Tenant Power – Free Webinar

As the COVID-19 pandemic leaves millions unemployed, furloughed, or with reduced hours, tenants and neighbours across North America have been organizing rent strikes to prioritize health and livelihood over the profits of landlords.
🏘🏙Join Leap UofT and two tenant organizers in an informative webinar about the rent strikes! We’ll go over your basic questions: What is a rent strike? What’s at stake? What rights do tenants have? This webinar will give viewers the tools and information to organize and support local rent strikes.
