PROTEST: Court Battle to #StopBigPlastic
Canada’s single-use plastic ban is under threat! Big Plastic is suing the federal government over its decision to designate plastics as “toxic” under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act.
Environmental Defence Canada, Animal Justice, and Oceana Canada are in court to defend the government’s listing, and to ensure the judge understands plastic pollution’s devastating impact on wildlife, the environment, and our health.
Join us outside of the courthouse to take a stand and support our efforts to #StopBigPlastic! 
The science is clear – plastics are toxic to the environment, injure and kill wildlife, and have even been found in human blood. We need to hold the plastic industry accountable and urge them to stop fighting progress on plastic pollution.
Note: Some signs will be provided, but feel free to bring your own as well.
