OMERS 2022 Annual Meeting

9:00 am on April 11th is the OMERS 2022 Annual Meeting. Climate-concerned beneficiaries from municipalities across Ontario are coordinating to make sure that OMERS’ approach to climate action and fossil fuels is on the agenda.

OMERS is making progress, hearing your concerns, and starting to take climate risk seriously. However, we must keep the pressure on to ensure that its public commitments are backed by a detailed plan and actions to protect your retirement savings and the climate. Register for the Annual Meeting now so that you can have your say.

When you register for the Annual Meeting, you can check a box to indicate you’d like to submit a question in advance. We recommend you do so, and come to a planning call with other OMERS members to help plan climate-related questions and develop a coordinated approach.
