Heat Death in Kensington

Join Extinction Rebellion Toronto for a fun, engaging, performative action during Climate Strike Week on Saturday, September 21st, and we invite you to participate!

On Saturday, September 21st, from 12–3pm, we will converge on a location in downtown Toronto and “die of the heat”.

In the spirit of Improv Everywhere, you will be coached to perform a dramatization of increasing levels of severe heat waves in Toronto as we march towards a hot house earth climate! You will call out for water, gasp for breath, faint, and carry each other! And this will culminate in a die-in at the center of Kensington Market.
XR TO will provide onsite improv training before we engage with this performance and die-in.
