Happy Low Waste Holidays!

Living low waste during a pandemic is possible and so is celebrating the holidays sustainably! Learn creative ways to upcycle items readily available at home, tips and hacks to reduce waste, and how to spread the environmentally-friendly holiday cheer this year.

The team embraces self-isolation by practicing WE-Solation through fun and hands-on online workshops that anyone can participate in (yes, even while you’re at home and in your pj’s!)

Some items to have handy for this workshop:

• Toilet paper rolls
• Markers or colouring pencils
• Glue
• Soil or seeds
• Twine or ribbon
• Material, thin and large enough to wrap an item (e.g. scarf, tea towel)
• Items to wrap (e.g. book, stuffed animal, a ball, jar)
