Finding Purpose, Nourishment and Solidarity in the Age of Climate Crisis

Join Youth Climate Action Toronto on October 26th for an evening of holding space for hard climate emotions, and leaning into meaning, purpose, and community in the face of climate anxiety!

***free food, and space for mingling, art-making, dancing, book signing, and learning about opportunities for local climate action

A growing number of youth are struggling with big choices in a warming world, including whether or not to have children. Yet much of that struggle is happening in private, and many youth may feel alone and isolated with their anxiety. If that resonates, we invite you to join us for a screening of “The Climate Baby Dilemma,” featuring young people wrestling with the ethics of whether or not to bring a child into this rapidly-changing world. We’re thrilled to have the documentary’s host and international expert in climate anxiety Dr. Britt Wray (@gen_dread ) joining us for the screening and discussion as she launches the soft cover version of her book, “Generation Dread: Finding Purpose in an Age of Eco-Anxiety.”

Everyone is welcome to this event, and the space is especially geared towards climate-anxious young people and those who love them. We look forward to seeing you there! Link in Bio
