Divestment and Beyond: Organizing Climate Justice at U of T

Join us for an inspiring conversation about the future of climate justice at U of T! Come hear from speakers who have already won major fossil fuel divestment victories and those currently working hard to achieve climate justice on our campus. Share your ideas, ask questions, and get involved in building a movement and a future!

Starting at 6:30 we will be hearing from exciting panelists, including Andrea Bastien of Indigenous Climate Action, Matt Hoffmann (Professor of Political Science at U of T), Uahikea Maile (Assistant Professor of Indigenous Politics, Department of Political Science, U of T), Eric Halgren (Professor of Neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego), and more! Moderators are Alissa Trotz (Women & Gender Studies Institute and Caribbean Studies at New College, U of T) and Chandni Desai (Assistant Professor of Equity Studies, U of T).

The space is accessible and ASL interpretation will be provided.
