CV Conversations: Bruce Wilson of Iron & Earth

The Centre for Social Innovation’s Climate Ventures Conversations* are a chance to hear from innovators and leaders working on climate justice and climate solutions. You’ll gain a greater understanding of the different ways in which we can tackle the climate crisis, and hear some inspiring personal stories along the way.

On Wednesday, December 3, we’re sitting down with Iron & Earth’s Bruce Wilson. Join us as we discuss the path to a net-zero economy and a just transition for workers.

*Formerly Climate Ventures Mornings, now taking place during lunch to accommodate those joining from coast to coast!

About the Speaker

Bruce Wilson sits on the Board of Directors of the not-for-profit Iron & Earth and is a founder of Thor Hydrogen, focused on the potential of renewable hydrogen to create jobs and decarbonize our energy system. A former GM with Shell, Bruce acted on the growing divergence between his personal philosophy and his career trajectory, leaving Shell to take more urgent action on climate change. He is passionate about achieving a just, equitable and inclusive transition and building transitional pathways to the net-zero economy. He believes that technology, coupled with social innovation, carries the power to create equal opportunity, helping those in our most vulnerable communities and nations adapt and thrive in a changing climate.
