CJTO Watch Party: Crip Camp
In these days of social distancing, isolation and loneliness can be heavy. We are learning new creative ways to stay connected, and we want to use our platform to continue fostering community amidst COVID-19. This is one of what we hope will be many online connection opportunities to weather physical distancing and stand in social solidarity with one another.
Join Climate Justice Toronto’s viewing party of ‘Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution,’ a documentary about a summer camp for disabled youth, and the disability justice movement it helped spark.
“Down the road from Woodstock, a revolution blossomed at a ramshackle summer camp for teenagers with disabilities, transforming their lives and igniting a landmark movement.”
We will be watching the movie together on Kast. To join make sure you create an account, and then ask to be a member of our party. From there you can join the party and watch the film with us! Join at the link below
