CJTO 2021 *First Ever* Annual General Meeting (AGM)
*DRUMROLL PLEASE*
#structure is writing to announce that, after one year of workshops, revisions, and several rounds of feedback, CJTO’s Structure Proposal has been finalized and is ready for a member-wide vote! ???
The time and care that has been put into the structure process from across CJTO’s membership has been extraordinary. Because of the immense degree of collaboration that went into this project, this proposal is a reflection of our collective politics and principles, and is infused with the identity of every member who gave feedback, engaged in pod meetings, and, on a broader level, has constructed the character of this organization through their participation in the work that we do. The evolution of CJTO is something we can all be incredibly proud of, and we hope that this is a structure that is up to the task of reflecting and supporting the work that we’ve been dreaming, planning, and building together.
This structure proposal will be voted on at our very first Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, May 3, from 6:00-8:30 pm!! In addition to the final structure presentation and vote, this AGM will include:
- Guest speakers (to be announced soon!)
- Finance updates and budget proposals!
- Call-outs for new and important committees! ✋
- Songs!
- Dance parties?!
More information will be provided throughout this month! There will be a presentation of the structure proposal at the AGM, but in the meantime, please check out the proposal in its document form or in its visual form with audio included.
Can your fellow members count on seeing you there for this important event to build CJTO? The goal is for 100% membership turnout, so pick up the phone and text that comrade who you haven’t heard from in a while. Bring a snack, bring a beverage of your choice, maybe even bring a friend who wants to get involved! Please reach out to @Anna, @Niklas, @Rebecca, @Julia, @Daniel or the #structure channel if you have any questions!
