City of Life: Rediscovering Nature in Your Own Backyard
In Canadian cities like ours, it can be easy to overlook the nature in our own backyards. Join us for an evening of conversation and insight from scientists, artists and thought leaders, to learn why rediscovering nature in our cities can change the quality of our urban lives and the future of biodiversity conservation across Canada.
Along with our moderator, Bob McDonald, Host of CBC Radio’s Quirks & Quarks, our panel of speakers will explore urban nature and the important impact it has on our lives.
Speakers include Jennifer Keesmaat, former Chief Planner, City of Toronto and renowned urbanist, and many more!

Presentation begins at 7 p.m.
