Celebrate Earth Day
On Friday, April 24th, Climate Legacy and the Ontario Horticultural Association are presenting an Earth Day celebration that brings together two powerful voices for our planet, Mark Cullen and Climate Legacy’s own Betty Plewes. Beginning at 7:00pm ET, this will be an evening of inspiration, reflection, and action.
For those of you who may be unaware of his work, Mark Cullen is a renowned horticulturalist and author. In this webinar, he will share his deep passion for the natural world through reflections on two remarkable books, The Light Eaters and Our Green Heart. His talk will be perfect for gardeners, nature lovers, and anyone who cares about the future of our green spaces.
Betty Plewes is a Climate Legacy co-founder and a member of our volunteer Steering Committee. Her talk – “Let’s Talk Climate: What are the risks, and what can you do?” — will be a grounded, accessible conversation about climate realities and the actions each of us can take.
