Advancing Systems Change with Collective Impact: Two-Part Virtual Workshop
Your collective impact effort should advance systems change. learn how and why.
Join us for this new, two-part virtual workshop designed to help you to design, implement and renew a successful Collective Impact Initiative. This workshop will profile lessons from practitioners about how to achieve high-impact results and will focus specifically on the importance of bringing a systems lens to Collective Impact in order to explicitly incorporate both programmatic AND systems-change strategies into Collective Impact implementation plans.
This two-part virtual workshop is ideal for anyone interested in deepening their knowledge about effectively designing, implementing or renewing a Collective Impact initiative with an emphasis on addressing the system barriers that are contributing to — and perpetuating — the very issues that programs are being designed to address. Participants will gain a solid understanding of the theory AND practice of Collective Impact, along with the necessary tools and resources to launch, lead, and sustain a successful Collective Impact effort.
The workshop’s highly interactive curriculum provides participants with opportunities to deepen their understanding of what it means to change systems and why and how to incorporate a systems perspective into your Collective Impact initiative. Participants will be encouraged to share their own experiences and challenges and leave this learning experience with greater understanding and new ideas, for how to effectively lead and facilitate a resilient Collective Impact initiative through the five phases of its maturity.
Implementing the Collective Impact framework is NOT a recipe. Adapting it to your specific issue and the uniqueness of your community realities is a MUST that requires skill and artful leadership. Co-developing your understanding and awareness of the systems change dimensions is an important aspect to ensuring the impact and sustainability of your Collective Impact Initiative. Invest in strengthening your practice in leading, facilitating, and sustaining your collective impact initiative as a catalyst to mobilize change simultaneously at both a community and systems level.
