2022 Inaugural Future Ground Prize Celebration

Join us on June 22 from 4 – 5:30 p.m. Pacific / 7 – 8:30 p.m. Eastern to celebrate all of this year’s participants, and to announce the Future Ground Prize winners. All prize winners will also present their projects to David Suzuki and Severn Cullis-Suzuki!

The event will be hosted by 16 year-old environmental researcher, author and the youngest recipient of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women Naila Moloo. Featuring special guests and youth activists Serena Mendizabal and Sarah Syed and a dance performance by Butterflies in Spirit.

The Future Ground Prize is presented by Desjardins and supported by Nature’s Way. This special youth edition, highlights existing youth-led initiatives in Ontario and British Columbia that have a positive impact on the environment and their local communities. The Future Ground Prize aims to celebrate and uplift these inspiring projects!
