Status For All Halloween Pumpkin & Fighting Fear Challenge

Living without permanent resident status is scary. Bosses exploit us, landlords mistreat us, we are scared of falling sick, and we live in daily fear of detention and deportation. Despite our fears, we are fighting back for justice for all!

This Halloween & Day of the Dead – take action! There are two ways to participate:

(1) The Pumpkin Challenge: Carve or paint a pumpkin with your kids, at work, or at school with “Status for All”. Post pictures, deliver them to your Member of Parliament on Halloween.

(2) Fighting Fear Challenge: Are you a migrant living without permanent resident status? Share your story of fears and how you are fighting back, and we will deliver it anonymously to decision makers on Halloween.

PM Justin Trudeau promised a regularization program in December 2021, but it’s October 2023 and the government is still stalling. Together, we must remind every Member of Parliament that there can be no delay to basic equality.
