Brockville/Leeds-Grenville Just Transition Event

The climate emergency requires Canada to eliminate fossil fuel use by 50% over the next eight years. This means that Brockville/Leeds-Grenville, like all municipalities, will need to undertake a Just Transition; a large and timely effort that will build upon the unique characteristics of this community through local action that involves everyone. This non-partisan and family-friendly event is happening in conjunction with many other events across Canada through 350.org. The goal is to raise local awareness and support for Just Transition legislation that will assist the climate emergency planning of Brockville/Leeds Grenville and Canada at large.
