The former Goldman Sachs banker is continuing in his role as agent for global capital.\nAs workers struggle to pay the rent, Carney is rolling out the red carpet for the very capitalists who’ve turned housing into an investment asset. BlackRock’s Larry Fink, Blackstone’s Jon Gray and Barclay’s C.S. Venkatakrishnan will all be there. What’s presented as an “investment strategy” is really just a further consolidation of wealth and power at the top.\nOur future should not be decided in private summits by the global rich. We demand economic democracy.\nJoin a mass protest at 6pm on September 14. It’s a Carnival Against Capitalism and march to the summit site.\nGet creative. Bring props, banners and costumes.
