Participants will learn about the complex sources of data that may be used (or needed) to assess environmental hazards and affected populations. They will be introduced to existing data mapping tools that have been developed in other jurisdictions and the importance of grassroots and community-led data. They will also learn about the federal government’s approach to using qualitative and quantitative data sources to inform the development of a national strategy.\n
