Potential solutions could include advancements in forestry harvesting equipment, improved methodologies, or data-driven logistical tools to optimize equipment and personnel deployment.\nWinners of this Challenge will collaborate directly with Groupe Savoie on a 12-month pilot project, testing their solutions in a real-world setting and addressing key industry challenges.\nA successful solution will:\n\nRecover an additional 15,000 tons of biomass for the same volume of roundwood harvested\nEnsure consistent supply to pellet mill and create opportunities to sell volume for green energy projects\nReduce extraction costs by $4/ton over 35,000 tons, saving $140,000 annually.\n\nWant to learn more?
