Register at the link in bio!\n🌸 How We Win: Recruiting and Activating New Members (Aug 9th, 3-4:30pm PT/ 6-7:30pm ET)\nMany grassroots groups struggle with attracting and empowering new people to join their ranks and help build the collective power necessary to achieve our climate justice goals.\nWhat does effective recruitment look like and how can you integrate these best practices into your climate + social justice organizing? Join us August 9th for an interactive workshop about how to:\n1) build a group people want to join,\n2) use community mapping to find + reach out to new segments of the population, and\n3) successfully activate new members and begin to integrate them into your team.\n🌸 How We Win: Retaining Members and Building Capacity (August 17th, 6-7:30pm PT/9- 10:30pm ET)\nAnother perennial problem grassroots groups face is navigating and guarding against high levels of turnover.\nHow do we weave sustainable retention practices into our organizing so that we effectively integrate and maintain connections with new and returning members? In this workshop, we’ll explore:\n1) why you need a strong onboarding process for new members,\n2) how to build + implement an onboarding process successfully, and\n3) how to use a ladder of engagement to build your group’s internal capacity, skills and commitment!\nThese workshops will be recorded and will be sent out after the live workshop concludes.
