SUMMARY:Canada’s Foremost Event For Net Zero Homes
DESCRIPTION:Canada’s Foremost Event For Net Zero Homes\n\nCHBA has taken a leadership role in helping early adopters of Net Zero Energy Homes overcome barriers and voluntarily build to higher levels of energy performance. With the end of COVID still unclear, rather than wait until we can see each other again in person, we’ve decided to host a virtual Net Zero Leadership Summit this year. (And, looking on the bright side, there’s the added bonus of lower emissions from all the travel we won’t be doing.)\nFrom Monday, November 22 to Thursday, November 25, CHBA will host the 2021 Net Zero Leadership Summit, a live interactive online event where participants will gain insight and explore the innovative, industry-leading efforts in Net Zero for both new homes and renovations. Participants will be a part of the dialogue – interacting and providing input during each session to work though the opportunities and challenges. Focused on valuable content and participant engagement, the Summit will convene leaders in the industry such as builders, renovators, energy advisors, product manufacturers, service providers, utilities, developers, as well as government, and academia from across Canada.\nSo that participants from across Canada can participate during business hours, and to reduce “zoom fatigue”, instead of two full days we’ve split the agenda across 4 days, with 2 sessions per day, and a half hour bio-break between them so you can refill your drink, have a bite, visit the head, go for a walk around the block, check your emails – or maybe all of the above! And because it’s being held virtually, it’s priced reasonably.\nThe agenda is guided by the nation-wide strategic action plan developed from the results of the last Summit, where priorities and stakeholders were identified to ensure a holistic approach is being implemented, and to support the industry with solutions and tools. Over the course of the event, you will have opportunities to engage with the other participants, speakers, panellists, and the Expo Hall exhibitors, offering you a deeper network upon which to build your Net Zero business opportunities. And, like last year, we’re going to have some hearty Canadian fun while we’re at it, eh!? (Get your cameras ready for the Great Canadian Photo Contest! The winner gets a complimentary pass to the 2022 Summit!)\n
