SUMMARY:Policy for Action 101
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nThis workshop brought to you by the Movers & Shakers Program draws insight on how to conduct action-oriented, solutions based change within our system, and spark interest in our generation of young change makers.\n \nYou’ll learn the power of policy writing and engage in the social etiquettes and technical structure of policy writing. We will give young leaders the confidence knowing they have the tools or direction in making a change in their own communities. The first short half of the workshop will focus on the content of policies and the second half will engage participants in a case study to determine the traits of a well written policy.\n\n\n\n\n
