DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to our National Clothing Swap Day event!\nOur intentions for this event were inspired by the need to provide alternative and empowering choices to refresh our wardrobe and reinvent our self expression without having to spend money.\nWe also wanted to create a space where people feel confident that they can make a difference and be included in a sustainability movement.\nThis event is co-ed and open to all humans of all ages and genders.\nWe would be honoured and excited for you to be included in National Clothing Swap Day! 🙌\n \nHow this will all go down:\nBring up to 20 items of clothing (any season) in great condition. 👌\n(Gently used items only with no stains or rips.)\nTake up to 20 items.\n \n❤ Send your donation to clothingswaprevolution@gmail.com\nAll proceeds will go towards textile recycling. ❤\n \nWhat to bring:\nDresses/jackets/t-shirts/business attire/costumes/accessories/purses/jewellery/shoes/pants/shorts/backpacks/sweaters/cardigans…(just no underwear or socks, please!)\n**After your clothing items have been approved by a volunteer (wearing a name tag), you may place your items in the assorted clothing piles.\nThis is a collaborative, inclusive swap and a practice of abundance, kindness, encouragement, and generosity.\nThere is no longer a cover charge for the event, but donations are warmly encouraged. 🙂 All proceeds will go towards textile recycling.\nThis swap is brought to you by Clothing Swap Revolution TO and is in partnership with Fashion Takes Action.\nPlease note that there will be no change rooms.\nPortapotty washrooms are located in the park.\nYou can invite as many friends as you like. We are looking forward to swapping with you!\n*If you could bring any extra large cotton or Ikea-style bags to donate to the swap, that would be so helpful!
