Let’s celebrate how these innovative and creative young people are shaping more resilient communities.\nYCI’s Final Pitch Night includes:\n\nPitches. Climate Leaders will pitch 2-4 minutes on their project, either alone or with a teammate, for potential prizes of $500 or $2,500, sponsored by Bullfrog.\n\nOur judging panel includes:\n\n\n\nDave Borins, Bullfrog Power Inc.\nLaura Casciaro, Secure the Food Mississauga\nMelina Damian, Ontario Nature & Centennial College\nBarnabe Geis, Climate Ventures\n\n\n\n\nA digital showcase. Virtual booths featuring the youth-led climate initiatives of YCI’s Climate Leaders and a networking space to learn how to get involved\nPanel: “Green Jobs & Youth Livelihoods in Canada”. How will the impacts of climate change affect future career prospects of Canadian youth and communities? What is a “Green Job” and what shifts are happening related to sustainability and social equity?\n\nPanelists include:\n\n\n\nUrshian Khalid, York University\nStephanie Rebello, LoyaltyOne (AIR MILES)\nSabrina Guzman Skotnitsky, Climate Justice Advocate & Researcher\n\n\nCelebration. Each Climate Leader’s incredible work and their project’s progress to date will be celebrated!\n\n
