SUMMARY:CCL’S PLAN FOR CLIMATE ACTION IN 2021
DESCRIPTION:The 2020 elections will shape our political strategy\nThe will to solve climate change is growing. 2021 could present historic opportunities for climate solutions, and CCL is preparing to move forward. At this conference, we’ll take a look at the road ahead. John Wood and Hahrie Han will discuss what the 2020 Presidential and Congressional election results mean for climate policy in 2021. And CCL’s Dr. Danny Richter will share key elements of CCL’s 2021 strategy based on the election.\nWe’ll stay true to our roots\nSome things will remain the same no matter what the election outcomes are. We’ll continue our nonpartisan, grassroots approach. We’ll still build the relationships that turn enemies into allies, and allies into activists. At the conference, you’ll have an opportunity to hear about the work we do to reach out to, include and support all different types of people to reach their potential as climate advocates.\nAnd build on our past successes  \nAs we discuss the road ahead,  it’s important for us to review what’s worked so far, and to build on those successes. 2020 has been a difficult year, but there have been bright spots as we transformed our advocacy from in-person to digital. CCLers will share highlights and best practices from their work this year.\n
