DESCRIPTION:\n\nBefore the pandemic, conservatives like Doug Ford were bringing in unpopular and harmful cuts that deepened our affordable housing crisis, placed more stress on our cash-strapped TTC, and further set back the next generation in Toronto. And COVID-19 has exposed to us all how these cuts have extremely dire consequences for people across our city.\nAs City Council debates housing, transit, and funding for key public services, now is the time for us to demand greater investments in our communities. At Progress Toronto we know if enough of us act and put pressure on the Mayor and City Council, we can push them to build a better city that is livable for everyone.\nThat is why phone banking to help people take action is so important. This is something you can do safely from home.\n\n\n\nClick Here to Sign Up\n\n\n\nJoin Progress Toronto Organizer, Mosheh Herdsman on Wednesday, October 7 to learn how to phone bank from home using our online tool and best practices on helping people take action for a better city.\nHalf of this workshop will be a training where you will become familiar with our online phone bank tool and how to move people to action, and in the second half of the workshop you will get a chance to put your new skills to practice and phone bank people across our city to take action. We will debrief after you make some calls!\nFor this online training you will need access to a computer and, if possible, headphones to make the calls.\n\n\n
