DESCRIPTION: \nJoin Leap Chapter UofT and UCLit Sustainability – UofT for a broad, multi-disciplinary discussion on the intersections of the COVID-19 crisis and the climate crisis. Beth writes and speaks about multisolving, climate change, and leadership based on systems thinking to local, national, and international audiences. A biologist with a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Beth trained in system dynamics and sustainability with Donella Meadows and worked at Sustainability Institute, the research institute founded by Meadows, for 13 years.\nTerri Chu: After spending years as a consultant in an engineering firm and seeing firsthand the challenges of building renewable energy projects, Terri is now pursuing a PhD in communication and culture with the hope of being a more effective voice in the battle against climate change. Terri is founder of “Why Should I Care?”, a group dedicated to fostering civic engagement and raising the bar on political discourse.
