You’ll gain a greater understanding of the different ways in which we can tackle the climate crisis, and hear some inspiring personal stories along the way.\nOn Wednesday June 24, we’re sitting down (virtually, of course!) with Laura Witt, General Partner at the Drawdown Fund, which was inspired by the solutions outlined in Paul Hawken’s New York Times Best Seller, “Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming.”\nJoin us for a conversation on impact investing, tangible solutions to tackle climate change, and how the Drawdown Fund scales market-based solutions to reverse global warming.\nPlease note that we’ll use Zoom to connect. Details will be sent to confirmed registrants via email before the event.\nAbout the Speaker\nLaura Witt is an experienced growth equity investor with 22+ years of experience investing in high growth technology companies. Prior to the Drawdown Fund, Laura served as a General Partner at ABS Capital where she led investments in applications and infrastructure software, systems, Internet, cloud, mobile, and consumer technologies. Prior to ABS Capital, Laura was a senior consultant at Monitor and received her MBA from Wharton.\nAbout the Moderator\nBarnabe Geis is the Director of Programs at the Centre for Social Innovation, where he designs and runs programs that grow startups and organizations with a social and/or environmental purpose. Barnabe leads Climate Ventures – an incubator, coworking space, and a range of accelerators that support entrepreneurs, innovators, and leaders working on climate solutions – and has raised millions in funding for climate action programs. He is an Ariane de Rothschild Fellow, and holds a Masters in Journalism from Columbia University.\n
