SUMMARY:Environmental Philanthropy: What Now, What Next?! A Webinar with Paul Nazareth
DESCRIPTION:This global crisis has affected the economy and charities in an unprecedented way. Fundraising is on hold for some charities, but for others an extreme growth in volume and crisis level growth in need. Where do environmental philanthropy and our charities fit into the response, recovery and rebuilding?\nOur speaker will share case studies from the current response as well as the perspective from the world of planned giving where there has been a north american phenomenon around the creation of Wills. We will explore Canadian data on giving and the medium of monetary transaction that we need to prepare for these next phases of the economy and where philanthropy will fit in. We will also discuss the launch of Canada’s movement to normalize including charities in Wills and the very specific element of environmental giving included in the fall campaign. This workshop will be specific for environmental charities and will include discussion elements for us to share solutions to what is uncharted territory for our sector.\n
