DESCRIPTION:\n***Join us for a coffee meet-and-greet to kickstart climate justice organizing in the Peel region: July 15, 6-8 PM, 7700 Hurontario St.***\nLast month, more than 150 Green New Deal town halls took place from coast to coast, with a few taking place in the suburbs of the GTA. We discussed everything from completely divesting from fossil fuels to decent jobs and public transit. It’s high time that Mississauga and Brampton—two of the three cities in the Peel region—began a climate justice movement of its own.\nClimate Justice Toronto (CJTO) and its Our Time Toronto campaign has been active for about two months.
