DESCRIPTION:Vegan Social Events are the first in Toronto to focus on promoting both veganism and sustainability – because the two go hand-in-hand! Our events are 100% vegan and low-waste. They bring together influencers, media makers, the community, and local companies for delicious vegan eats & drinks, sustainable shopping, and guest speaking engagements. Vegan Social Events attract conscious consumers and socially responsible businesses. Our events focus on promoting the vegan lifestyle in a friendly and inclusive manner, and inspire guests to live sustainably!\nThe first Vegan Social Event was hosted in September 2016 in Toronto and brought together influencers and media makers for a celebration of the local thriving vegan scene. This event was unique to the local vegan community and well received by all involved. Our Pop-Up Events in July and September 2017, were open to the public and sold out, with line-ups out the door!\nIn 2018, we hosted the first Sustainable Block Party + Pop-Up Market, with free admission and keynote speaker James Aspey, an Australian Animal Rights Activist. The success of Vegan Social Events continued with the sold-out September 2018 Pop-Up Event which attracted many repeat attendees and included guest speakers, Candice Hutchings of The Edgy Veg, The Sustainable Duo and Jacky from BEETxBEET.\n
