DESCRIPTION:Dominion uses drones, hidden and handheld cameras to expose the dark underbelly of modern animal agriculture, questioning the morality and validity of humankind’s dominion over the animal kingdom. While mainly focusing on animals used for food, it also explores other ways animals are exploited and abused by humans, including clothing, entertainment and research.\nNarrated by Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, Sia, Sadie Sink and Kat Von D, and co-produced by Earthlings creator Shaun Monson. They will be hosting and doing a Q&A after the film.\nIn 2019 they’re on their “It’s The Least We Can Do” Activism Tour.\nThrough their Meet-up and Activism Workshops, they educate, empower, motivate, and inspire vegans to be active, and invite people to attend activist events with them in their local area.\nThey have a reach of 210K+ followers across their various social media platforms, 22Million YouTube channel views plus millions more on Facebook and Instagram, and they use their social media influence to boost the participation of vegans in grassroots activism, as well as the profiles of local animal rights activist groups in the cities they visit on this trip.\nIn 2018 they completed the same Activism Tour in the U.S.A, U.K, and Ireland, and had great success getting people more active for animals, with local animal rights activist groups reporting record or near record turnouts at their events.\nPlease bring non-vegan friends and family to see this important documentary. It is imperative to have non-vegans attend the screening. We will provide literature, light snacks and refreshments before the screening.\n
